You complete the spell by breathing out a cold breath that freezes the ambient moisture in the air into jagged shards. The flurry deals 1d6 damage per caster level (max 20d6) half of which is cold damage and the other half is slashing damage that is treated as magical for DR purposes. Allies within the line are left unaffected and enemies within the line may make a Reflex save to halve the damage.

Additionally the cold snap carries you to any point along the line of affect if you choose to move and this movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity. This spell and the movement cannot pass through solid barriers.
