DESCRIPTION

When you cast this spell you gesture a ward of protection and toss the material component in the air, the glass eye then shatters harmlessly and a halo of shimmering glass dust floats above your head.

While a duelist’s spellward lasts you may counterspell as an immediate action without having previously readied an action to do so and you gain a +4 insight bonus to Spellcraft checks to identify spells being cast. The first time you successfully counter a spell while under the effects of duelist’s spellward it ends, granting you a +1 bonus to caster level for the next spell you cast before the end of your next turn.
