You create 7 glowing motes of light that orbit your head until the spell ends. If at least 4 motes remain, you shed light as a torch, otherwise you shed light as a candle. The color and shape of the lights reflects the nature of the caster.

As a swift action you may send one of your motes of light at a target. If you succeed at a ranged touch attack, the mote deals 1d8 damage per 3 caster levels. This damage increases to d12s against undead.
