A pinpoint speck of darkness appears at the point you designate before rupturing, inundating the surrounding area with a pitch-black miasma. All creatures in the burst take 6d6 damage and are blinded. A Reflex save halves the damage and negates the blindness.

A living creature damaged by darkburst is further assaulted by the horrid miasma, causing them to take 1d8 Constitution damage and 1d8 Wisdom damage. A Fortitude save halves the ability damage dealt.

Darkburst can counter or dispel any light spell of 8th level or lower. Any light spells or 8th level or lower within darkburst’s area at the time of casting are dispelled.
