DESCRIPTION

This weapon is a +4 holy bane bastard sword used in several crusades. Although made of steel, it is treated as being made of both cold iron and silver for the purposes of overcoming damage reduction. It glows with the equivalent of continual flame, but its wielder can extinguish or ignite this glow as a move action. In addition, the weapon gains a further +2 enhancement bonus and deals an extra 2d6 points of damage against foes who serve or worship an evil god.

Although it is lawful good, as long as its wielder is dedicated to the defeat of a famous evil dragon and those it has corrupted, the blade does not attempt to seize control of its wielder. If the wielder acts against its wishes, it tries to force him to relinquish it to a more appropriate wielder.

DESTRUCTION

This weapon can only be destroyed by the breath weapon of a great wyrm shadow dragon worshiper of the evil god it is dedicated to the destruction of while it is unattended.
