DESCRIPTION

This razor-edged sheet of parchment soaks up blood at terrifying speed. A parching parchment functions like a +1 cruel dagger until it scores a successful critical hit, sneak attack, or coup de grace against a living target, at which point the target is affected by the horrid wilting spell (no save, caster level 16th). After this spell effect expires, the parchment becomes a non-magical, bloody sheet of parchment.

Alternatively, a parching parchment can function as a scroll of horrid wilting (caster level 16th)
