DESCRIPTION

The scales of this +1 scale mail are glazed a dull dark green, making the armor resemble the scaly hide of a crocodile.

EFFECTS

When immersed in water, crocodile scale grants the wearer a swim speed of 30 feet and the ability to hold his breath for 4 times his Constitution score before he risks drowning.

Up to seven times per day, as a standard action, the scales on the rear of the armor can be commanded to grow into a 5 foot long tail. The wearer can use this tail as a secondary natural weapon to make tail slaps dealing 1d12 damage plus half the wearer’s Strength bonus. This effect lasts for 3 rounds.
