This ring looks like a ring of the twin and functions as such. When the wearer activates the ring’s powers, however, he must make a DC 20 Will save or suffer the effects of confusion, as per the spell, for 5 + 1d3 rounds as his self-identity becomes shaken. If the wearer fails his saving throw, the twin appears but does not act unless the wearer is acting normally.

Casting true seeing and remove curse upon the ring allows the wearer to remove it, rendering the ring non-magical.
