Ring of Traversing Water

Aura moderate transmutation; CL 9th; Slot ring; Weight

This ring appears to be a ring of water walking and functions as such. However, the wearer must always have water under his feet. If the wearer stands upon dry ground, moisture is forced from every pore of his body, inflicting 1d3 points of damage per round for 2 rounds as it puddles at his feet. Any movement over dry ground will result in 1d3 points of damage per round as the character quickly dehydrates.

Additionally, the wearer must consume twice the normal amount of water each day or suffer 1d2 points of Constitution damage.

The ring can be removed by casting remove curse on the wearer, leaving the enchantment intact. Casting create water upon the ring immediately after the remove curse destroys the ring.
