Path of the Perfectionist

A soulblade that follows the path of the perfectionist spends years honing her talents and her blade to a sharpened edge, using impressive skill and capability to slice through her foes. The perfectionist has a preference for large, powerful weapons that can convert momentum into damage more effectively.

Bonus Feat: A soulblade who follows the Path of the Perfectionist gains Power Attack as a bonus feat, though she must meet the prerequisites to benefit from it.

Momentum Talent: The perfectionist adds a stacking +1 bonus to all her damage rolls for every Quickened Edge die added to the attack. At 10th level, this increases to a +2 bonus for every die, and at 19 level it increases again to +3. Additionally, the perfectionist can grant herself additional momentum points equal to her strength modifier as a swift action, a number of times per day equal to 3 + her wisdom modifier.

Artistic Talent: Constantly practicing, improving on, and enhancing her art, the perfectionist strives to create a flawless technique; growing ever closer as she progresses.

Enhanced Sundering: At 4th level, when the perfectionist has 4 or more momentum points, she can make sunder attempts without provoking attacks of opportunity, as if she had the improved sunder feat. Additionally, for every 2 points of momentum she has, she gains a +1 bonus to her CMB and damage dealt when performing sunders. At 8th level the perfectionist gains Improved Sunder as a bonus feat, and gains the effects of the Greater Sunder feat when she has 4 or more momentum points.

Unerring Momentum: At 8th level, the perfectionist gains the ability to use her momentum to correct failure. When she has has 6 or more momentum points, she is able to reroll a failed attack roll as an immediate action by foregoing her Quickened Edge dice damage. This ability can only be used once per round.

Piercing Blow: At 12th level, the perfectionist becomes an expert in using momentum to attack through armor. The perfectionist can expend 4 momentum points as a free action to resolve her next melee attack made within 1 round against the target’s touch AC. If successful, this attack generates 2 momentum points, as any other successful attack. This ability cannot be used in the same round as the Soulstrike ability, and can only be used once per round.

Power Reach: At 16th level, when the perfectionist has 5 or more momentum points, her range with her bonded melee weapon is increased by 5 feet. Additionally, when using Power Attack with 5 or more momentum points, the bonus damage from Power Attacking with a two-handed weapon is doubled (+100%) instead of increased by half (+50%).

Talented Striker:
Perfectstrike: With this effect, the perfectionist can make a deadly accurate Soulstrike. She adds her Wisdom modifier to the attack roll, and if the Soulstrike hits then the target takes 1 additional point of bleed damage each round for each die of the perfectionist’s Quickened Edge. Bleeding creatures take that amount of damage every round at the start of each of their turns. The bleeding can be stopped by a DC 15 Heal check or the application of any effect that heals hit point damage. Bleeding damage from this ability does not stack with itself. Bleeding damage bypasses any damage reduction the creature might possess.
Unlocked Talent:
Ultimate Methodology : Through dedication and careful practice, the perfectionist has developed the ultimate strategy for her technique when it comes to felling a foe. When she successfully sunders a foe’s armor, the perfectionist denies that foe their dexterity bonus to AC against her attacks for 1d4+1 rounds. When she successfully sunders a foe’s weapon, the perfectionist gains a +4 circumstance bonus to her armor class against all attacks made by that foe for 1d4+1 rounds. When she successfully deals damage to a foe while using the power attack option, the perfectionist generates an additional point of momentum for each successful attack made against that foe. Additionally, for every Quickened Edge die she adds to an attack, that attack ignores 1 point of DR.
