Physical Description: No-Hives are similar to other Formians; centaur-like ant creatures with a red exoskeleton, however No-Hives are usually branded or marked in some way to denote their status as lacking a hive to call their own. This is usually black paint from their head all the way down to their abdomen, and is usually done either by other Formians or even by themselves. Otherwise they are similar visually to other Formians somewhere between a Worker and Warrior.

Society: No-Hives are defined instead by their lack of a society due to their being outside of a hive; No-Hives are few and far between and due to their rarity a group of No-Hive have not come together to create a whole new society.

Relations: No-Hives often make a conceited effort to get along with other races – even if the race is not normally interested in friendly relationships with No-Hives.

Alignment and Religion: No-Hives tend to remain similar to their past brethren and are strictly Lawful, preferring routine despite their lack of a hive – instead making their own code for themselves to follow. They are more flexible when it comes to the Good/Evil axis; some more noble No-Hives even becoming Paladins or knights in rare cases, or more devious Lawful Evil No-Hives attain a knack for manipulation.

Adventurers: Formian No-Hives are the most common of the Formian adventurers due to their lack of a hive, allowing them to remain independent. Usually adventure is their only other route in life as most societies are fearful of the new and bizarre Formians, only willing to give them jobs which keep them far from towns such as hiring them as hunters.
