Corrupted Rager

While stuck on the plane of corruption, the energies of the plane slowly twist and manipulate the psyche of these poor nomads, driving them into psychotic frenzies.

The corrupted rager is an archetype of the barbarian class.

Maleficent Rage (Ex)

Attuned to the plane of corruption and drawing energy from it even when outside of the planar energies present there, the corrupted rager is capable of fracturing his mind in order to enter this altered state of bloodlust. This ability functions as per rage except that the corrupted rager receives his bonuses to Strength and Dexterity instead of Strength and Constitution. In addition to this, while under the effects of rage, the corrupted rager receives Corruption Resistance 10 instead of the bonus hit points which would be granted by their increased Constitution.

Upon obtaining greater rage the Corruption Resistance increases to 20, and upon obtaining mighty rage the Corruption Resistance increases to 30.

This alters rage, greater rage, and mighty rage.

Evasion (Ex)

At 2nd level, a corrupted rager can avoid even magical and unusual attacks with great agility. If he makes a successful Reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save, he instead takes no damage. Evasion can be used only if the corrupted rager is wearing light, medium, no armor. A helpless corrupted rager does not gain the benefit of evasion.

This replaces uncanny dodge, and the corrupted rager does not gain uncanny dodge until 5th level.

Corrupted Strike (Su)

At 4th level, the corrupted rager’s weapons pulsate with corrupted energy while he rages, absorbing some of the residual planar magic and granting them a small boost in strength. While raging the corrupted rager deals 1d6 corruption damage with manufactured weapons, and this corruption damage increases to 1d10 at 8th level and 2d8 at 12th level.

This replaces the rage power gained at 4th level.
