DESCRIPTION

Tiorro, the quintessential wizard of his day, spent one hundred and sixteen years studying and research this all encompassing work on arcane studies. The manual describes seven different theories regarding the origins and proliferation of magic as well as its practitioners. Teeming with mind boggling mathematical computations and esoteric philosophies, the manual proves a difficult read for even the sharpest minds. Nevertheless, its tremendous benefits continually appreciate its value. This tome is printed on paper and bound in leather, with a pair of steel clamps to help hold the book closed. Four copies are known to exist at the present time.

The reader receives a +2 insight bonus to all saving throws against arcane spells and Spellcraft checks. The reader’s scrying spells become more difficult to resist (apply a -2 Will save modifier to resist the spell.)

MISINTERPRETATION

Misinterpretation The character receives a -1 insight penalty against arcane spells and a -1 insight penalty on all Spellcraft checks. The reader’s scrying spells become easier to resist (apply a +1 Will save modifier to resist the spell.)

Gross Misinterpretation The character receives a -2 insight penalty against arcane spells and a -2 insight penalty on all Spellcraft checks. The reader’s scrying spells become easier to resist (apply a +2 Will save modifier to resist the spell.)
