Chakram Dervish

The chakram is an exotic and deadly weapon that becomes even more imposing in the hands of one who has trained in these unique techniques with it. Chakram dervishes are said to be combat dervishes, whirling about and sending flying death soaring towards their foes.

The chakram dervish is an archetype of the fighter class.

Bonus Feats

At 1st level, a chakram dervish gains Quick Draw as a bonus feat.

This replaces the usual 1st-level fighter bonus feat.

Whirling Defense

At 2nd level, a chakram dervish gains a +1 dodge bonus to her armor class against ranged attacks. This bonus increases by +1 at 6th level and at every 4 levels thereafter, to a maximum of +5 at 18th level.

This ability replaces bravery.

Dancing Blades

At 3rd level, a chakram dervish treats chakrams as light weapons for the purpose of two-weapon fighting.

This ability replaces armor training 1.

Chakram Training

At 5th level, a chakram dervish gains a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls with chakrams. This bonus increases by +1 at 9th level and every 4 levels thereafter.

This ability replaces weapon Training 1, 3, and 4.

Safe Throw

At 7th level, a chakram dervish’s ranged attacks with chakrams do not provoke attacks of opportunity.

This ability replaces armor training 2.

Twin Blade Throw

At 9th level, as a standard action a chakram dervish can throw a chakram from each hand, taking the usual two-weapon fighting penalties.

This ability replaces weapon Training 2.

Dashing Flurry

At 11th level, a chakram dervish can move up to her speed and make a full attack with chakrams. She takes a -2 penalty on her attack rolls when using this ability, and her movement still provokes attacks of opportunity as normal.

This ability replaces armor training 3.

Boomeranging Throw

At 15th level, all chakrams thrown by the chakram dervish return to her hand immediately, whether they hit or miss their target. This allows the chakram dervish to make a full attack with only one chakram in each hand at her full number of attacks.

This ability replaces armor training 4.

Chakram Mastery

At 20th level, a chakram dervish automatically confirms any critical threats she makes with chakrams, and increases the chakram‘s critical hit damage modifier by 1 (from x2 to x3). In addition, she cannot be disarmed while wielding chakrams.

This ability replaces weapon Mastery.
