Entomancer

While some people find insects repulsive, there are others who behold them with fascination and wonder. Entomancers are druids that have delved into the secrets of bugs and come away with a greater understanding of them than most would ever want.

Class Features

Chitinous Bond (Ex)

An entomancer may not select a domain and must choose a vermin companion.

This ability replaces nature bond.

Vermin Empathy (Su)

An entomancer can improve the attitude of vermin as a normal druid can with animals. Wild vermin typically have a starting attitude of unfriendly.

This replaces wild empathy.

Clickspeaking (Ex)

At 2nd level, an entomancer gains Vermin Heart as a bonus feat.

This ability replaces woodland stride.

Imperturbable (Ex)

Starting at 4th level, an entomancer becomes immune to effects that would cause her to be sickened or nauseated.

This ability replaces resist nature’s lure.

Wild Shape (Su)

At 6th level, an entomancer can use wild shape to turn into a Small or Medium vermin, as though using vermin shape I.

At 8th level, the entomancer can take the form of Tiny or Large vermin, as though using vermin shape II.

At 12th level, an entomancer can use wild shape to transform into a swarm of vermin, functioning as swarm skin, but not allowing her to split into more than one contiguous swarm.

She doesn’t leave her gear behind when she uses this ability, and she can revert to her mundane form normally.

The entomancer does not gain the ability to turn into an elemental.
