Weakening Strike (Su)

Prerequisite(s): Magus level 3

Benefit(s): The magus can spend 1 point from her arcane pool as a swift action to imbue her weapon with energy that weakens the target’s natural magical defenses. Upon a successful melee attack, the opponent takes normal weapon damage modified by any enhancement bonus or effects. Additionally, her opponent must make a Fortitude save (DC 10 + half her magus class level + her Intelligence modifier). On a failed save, her opponent takes a resistance penalty (–1 per 3 magus levels) on all saves for 1 full round. If the magus instead spends 2 points from her arcane pool, the penalty lasts for 1 minute.
