Apprentices who study a mentor’s paladin class levels gains the paladin‘s smite evil class feature. When determining the damage and uses per day of the apprentice’s smite, the apprentice’s effective paladin level is equal to half his apprentice level (minimum 1). Advanced Mentorship Ability

Apprentices who study a mentor’s paladin class levels and chooses paladin for their advanced mentorship ability for the day gains the paladin‘s lay on hands class feature. When determining the healing and number of uses per day of the apprentice’s lay on hands, the apprentice’s effective paladin level is equal to his apprentice level minus 3. At 10th level and every three levels thereafter, the apprentice can select a mercy their mentor possesses to add to their lay on hands. Apprentices cannot select a mercy that requires 6th level as their first mercy. Apprentices cannot select a mercy that requires 9th level as their first or second mercy. Apprentices cannot select a mercy that requires 12th level as their first, second, or third mercy.

Cooperation Power

Apprentices who study a mentor’s paladin class levels and chooses paladin for their cooperation power may spend a cooperation point as an immediate action before he or an adjacent ally attempts a saving throw, to add his Charisma modifier to the result of the save. He must choose to do this before the roll is made.
