Pseudowizard

Not everyone is cut out to be a wizard. Pseudowizards are the dropouts of arcane academia. Many were expelled or quit for not possessing the “proper” mental faculties for learning and casting spells, or just as often, for getting into brawls with fellow students. Despite their roughness, pseudowizards are not deterred by their lack of qualifications, and make the most out of what they have learned.

Wizard Spell Raiding: A pseudowizard can raid any spell on the wizard spell list, up to the spell levels he can cast. This alters spell raiding.

Arcane Bachelor: A pseudowizard gains the arcane school class feature, treating his occultist level as his wizard level.

Unruly Student: A pseudowizard gains Improved Unarmed Strike as a bonus feat at 1st level.

History Maker: A pseudowizard does not gain the historical figure class feature.

Out of Touch: When a pseudowizard uses a wizard spell that normally requires a melee touch attack he must instead resolve the attack roll as a melee attack with a weapon or unarmed strike.

Restoration Specialist

Some occultists become so obsessed with objects that they lose interest in the world at large. Restoration specialists are consummate collectors of old, mysterious, and unique items that they empower with their psychic magic.

Mending Master (Sp)

At 1st level, a restoration specialist adds mending to his list of knacks known. A restoration specialist can reduce this knack’s casting time to 1 minute.

This replaces ley lines.

Item Restoration (Sp)

Starting at 8th level, a restoration specialist adds make whole to his list of spells known. The numeric effects of this spell are always maximized (as per the Maximized Spell feat) when he casts it. This does not increase the spell’s level. This replaces nexus points.

Greater Item Restoration (Su)

Starting at 12th level, a restoration specialist adds greater make whole to his list of spells known. The numeric effects of this spell are always maximized (as per the Maximized Spell feat) when he casts it. This does not increase the spell’s level.

This replaces ambiance.
