Corpse Wielder

Whether resentful of the living, the dead, or both, corpse wielders use the undead creatures they control to fight and eliminate their adversaries.

Historical Necromancers

A corpse wielder must choose either the Notable Necromancer or the Preeminent Priest as his 1st level historical figure.

Corpse Collector: A corpse wielder collects dead things. He does not gain the antiques or antique expert class features.

Corpse Companion (Su)

At 1st level, a corpse wielder gains an animal companion as a druid of his legendary occultist level. He also gains Corpse Companion as a bonus feat and applies it to his animal companion, even if he does not meet the feat’s requirements.

Corpse Combat (Su)

Starting at 6th level, a corpse wielder and his corpse companion both gain a bonus combat feat.

This must be the same feat. The corpse wielder must meet the requirements for this feat, but his corpse companion does not. A corpse wielder and his corpse companion gain another combat feat at levels 10, 14, 18, and 20.

Bone-to-Pick (Su)

Starting at 10th level, as a standard action, a corpse wielder can cause a bone to tear itself free from a creature’s body and fly into his grasping hand.

This deals 1d6 Dexterity damage to the target. A successful Fortitude save (DC10 + ½ the corpse wielder’s level + his Intelligence bonus) reduces this damage by half and the bone stays in its place in the creature’s skeletal frame. If the attempt is successful, the bone in the corpse wielder’s grasp functions like a masterwork light pick or masterwork heavy pick for the next minute. If the corpse wielder slays the same target with this pick within this minute, the target’s corpse becomes a skeleton under the corpse wielder’s control for the next hour. When this hour has lapsed, the skeleton collapses into an inert, mundane pile of bones.

A corpse wielder can use this ability once per day.

Control Undead (Su)

Starting at 14th level, a corpse wielder can cast control undead once per day, as a spell-like ability.

Bone Dry (Su)

Starting at 18th level, a corpse wielder can cast horrid wilting once per day as a spell-like ability.

If he slays a creature with this ability, the creature instantly becomes a skeleton under the corpse wielder’s control. This control lasts for 1 hour before the skeleton collapses into an inert, mundane pile of bones.

Corpse Combat Mastery (Su)

At 20th level, a corpse wielder becomes a master of corpse combat. Once per round as a free action, he can grant any combat feat he possesses to any undead that is currently under his control for 1 round.
