Etheric Mystic

The path of potions and reagents is a tempting one, but etheric mystics eschew such things, seeking power from more unique sources. Seeking knowledge that would normally be locked behind other studies, etheric mystics are some of the rarest and exotic of alchemists, some not even considering them among their brethren.

Weapon and Armor Proficiencies

Etheric mystics are proficient with simple weapons, as well as light armor and bucklers. In addition, if this is this character’s first level in any class, they may select a martial tradition of their choice.

This modifies the alchemist’s weapon and armor proficiencies.

Spellcasting

The etheric mystic may combine spheres and talents to create magical effects. The etheric mystic is considered a Mid-Caster and uses Intelligence as their casting ability modifier. (Note: All casters gain 2 bonus talents and may select a casting tradition the first time they gain the casting class feature.)

This replaces the extracts class feature.

Spell Pool (Su)

The etheric mystic gains a small reservoir of energy they can call on to create truly wondrous effects, called a spell pool. This pool contains a number of spell points equal to their class level + their Intelligence modifier (minimum 1). This pool replenishes once per day after roughly 8 hours of rest.

Blended Training (Ex)

An etheric mystic gains a combat or magic talent every time they gain a class level. Etheric mystics use their casting ability modifier as their practitioner modifier.

This replaces poison resistance and poison immunity.
