Sage

While most priests are known for their wisdom and zeal, the sage is a much more bookish clergyman who studies her faith with scholarly diligence.

Lore Master

Most sages have spent their lives in the monastic libraries filled with limitless knowledge. A sage studies much more than simply her religious teachings.

Starting at 2nd level, a sage gains a bonus on all Knowledge and Linguistics skill checks equal to half of her priest level (rounded down). In addition, she may make Knowledge and Linguistics skill checks untrained.

This ability replaces religious study.

Pragmatic Diviner

Rather than drawing upon the power of her faith through conviction, a sage casts spells in a studious manner not unlike a wizard. A sage uses her Intelligence instead of her Wisdom to determine all class features and effects relating to your priest class, such as bonus spells per day, maximum spell level you can cast, and the save DCs of your spells.

This ability replaces channel energy.

Divine Arcana (Su)

A sage’s studies grants her extraordinary magic unavailable to most divine casters.

Starting at second level and every even level after, add one spell from the sorcerer/wizard spell list to the sage’s list of spells known. Once a spell is chosen, it may not be changed. Each spell is treated as a divine spell.

This ability replaces one of the priest’s secondary dogmas.
