Requirement: Ghoul HD 1.

Effect: The attack deals 1d6 points of slashing damage plus the ghoul’s Intelligence modifier.

Improved Loss

The attack deals +1d6 points of damage per two Hit Dice the ghoul has after 1st (2d6 at 3rd, 3d6 at 5th, and so on), to a maximum of 9d6 points of damage at 17th Hit Die, and deals 1 point of bleed damage per die of damage inflicted. The target can make a Fortitude save to negate the bleed damage.

Gain and Loss

On a failed saving throw against this effect, the ghoul gains a number of temporary hit points equal to half the damage inflicted, as per vampiric touch.
