The ghoul’s touch undermines the subject’s very physical structure.

Requirement: Ghoul HD 11.

Effect: The target is stunned for 1 round. A successful Fortitude saving throw negates this effect.

Improved Loss

The subject also suffers 1d4 points of Constitution damage. A creature whose Constitution is reduced to 0 by this effect is paralyzed until it regains at least one point of constitution, but doesn’t die (even if the loss of maximum hit points may still result in death). A successful saving throw reduces the Constitution damage to 1 and the condition to 1 round of sickness.

Gain and Loss

If the target fails its saving throw against this effect, the ghoul gains a +4 competence bonus to Fortitude saving throws and becomes immune to death effects for 10 minutes.
