The ghoul’s touch robs the target of its ability to move as desired.

Requirement: Ghoul HD 11

Effect: The target is staggered for 1 round per Hit Die the ghoul has. A successful Fortitude saving throw negates the effect.

Improved Loss

The target also suffers 1d4 points of Dexterity damage. A creature whose Dexterity is reduced to 0 by this effect is paralyzed until it regains at least 1 point of Dexterity. A successful saving throw halves the damage and reduces the condition to staggered for 1 round.

Gain and Loss

If the target fails its saving throw against this effect, the ghoul gains a +4 competence bonus to all Dexterity-based skill checks and the effects of freedom of movement for 10 minutes.
