Before Combat The slayer uses Archon Style and stays close to someone who needs defending. They also study a target and choose a quarry.

During Combat The slayer uses Archon Diversion to block attacks intended for whomever they are defending. As soon as multiple evil creatures come close, the slayer uses heaven’s light. The slayer attacks once they are sure their ally is well protected.

Holding the line is what the divine defender is trained to do above all else. Protect yourself and the ally next to you, and you will protect those behind you. The divine defender never goes off hunting fiends alone. They always fight with others whom they trust to watch their backs.

To find suitably righteous new allies, the divine defender seeks out others combating evil and helps them in their quests—putting them in a perfect position to request assistance from those allies when it is needed.
