    SPECIAL ABILITIES

    Dimming Aura (Su)

As a swift action, the mulgwishin can emit a dimming aura. This darkness causes the illumination level in a 20-foot-radius burst to drop one step, from bright light to normal light, from normal light to dim light, or from dim light to darkness. This has no effect in an area that is already dark. Creatures that start their turn within 5 feet of the aura have their speed reduced by 10 feet for 1 round. This lasts until it is reduced to 0 hit points or turns it off on its turn.

    Drown (Ex)

If a mulgwishin successfully grapples a creature in knee-deep or higher water, the target becomes prone and is submerged under the water. On subsequent turns, if the mulgwishin continues to succeed on grapple checks, the target remains prone and under the water.

    Gaseous Form (Su)

As a standard action, a mulgwishin can assume gaseous form at will (caster level 5th), but it can remain gaseous indefinitely and has a fly speed of 30 feet with perfect maneuverability.

    Spiritual Defense (Su)

A mulgwishin gains a deflection bonus to AC equal to its Cha bonus (minimum +1).

    ECOLOGY

    Environment any (near water)
    Organization solitary or gang (2-4)
    Treasure standard (mostly underwater)

This long-armed woman wears a sweeping gown sodden with fouled water. Its long hair hangs to its knees, covering its face and constantly dripping.

Often the result of people who died by drowning, mulgwishins can be found around bodies of water such as ponds, lakes, rivers, or even nearby the ocean. They are constantly drenched in water, have long black hair, and wear white clothing, either a dress or pants and a shirt. The mulgwishin are especially well-known in Jeosung as they are connected to suicide and the souls of those who suffered terribly in their lifetime. There is both something terrifying and disarming about them.

A mulgwishin tries to get as close as possible to its victims, often feigning helplessness, and attack in the water. More wary targets will be subjected to its spell-like abilities.
