Star-borne Creature (CR +1)

The star-borne template overrides any template the summoned creature may have normally. For example, if the creature summoned would be a celestial eagle, they are instead a star-borne eagle.

Star-borne creatures reside in the dark places between the stars or in alien and unknown worlds far beyond the reach of those on the material plane. These creatures are twisted and terrifying to gaze upon. The star-borne creature’s quick and rebuild rules are the same. The star-borne template can be added to any living or undead creature.

Alien Mind (Ex)

Any creature, other than an aberration, that makes mental contact with a star borne creature, like through detect thoughts or telepathy, must make a Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 the star-borne creature’s HD + their Charisma modifier) due to being exposed to the creature’s incomprehensible mind. On a failed save, the creature is confused for 1d6 rounds.

On a successful save, the creature is staggered for 1 round. This is a mind-affecting effect.

Ability Scores: +2 Charisma
