SPECIAL ABILITIES

Alternate Form (Ex)

As a standard action, a tapestry-warped creature can shift their form into a grotesque mass of appendages and eyes (or other appropriately disgusting form as determined by the GM). Despite the changed form, the tapestry-warped creature retains their abilities and statistics. However, all creatures that can see or sense the change take are shaken for 1 minute and take a -1 penalty to attack rolls against the tapestry-warped creature while it maintains this chaotic form. A successful Will save negates the shaken condition. The tapestry-warped creature may maintain this form for 1 round per Hit Die they possess. The save DC is Charisma-based.

No Breath (Ex)

The tapestry-warped creature gains the no breath universal monster ability.

True Strike (Su)

Once per day, a tapestry-warped creature can gain a +20 insight bonus on a single attack roll as a swift action. Additionally, the tapestry-warped creature suffers no miss chance with this augmented attack due to concealment.

Smoke Form (Ex)

A cinder ghoul’s natural form is similar to a gaseous form spell, though it retains its natural armor bonus, all attacks, and can use its supernatural abilities. It is able to fly naturally but is subject to the effects of wind (though it cannot be dispersed and takes no damage from wind). A cinder ghoul cannot enter water or other liquids and cannot pass through small holes or narrow openings.

ECOLOGY

Environment any (extraplanar)
Organization solitary
Treasure none

This large feline looks terrifying, its hair has been replaced by an undulating fleshy cilia and it has one single bulbous eye between where both of its eyes would reside. It lets out an atonal growl as it stalks forward.
