Change Shape (Su)

An infiltrator hound archon can assume the form of any creature of Small to Large size, as if using greater polymorph. While shapechanged, the infiltrator hound archon loses her bite and slam attacks, but gains the attacks of the form she chooses.

Guarded Thoughts (Su)

An infiltrator hound archon is immune to any form of mind reading, such as that granted by detect thoughts. This ability also grants a +2 racial bonus on all saves against charm effects.

Shadow Blend (Su)

During any condition other than bright light, the infiltrator hound archon can disappear into the shadows as a move-equivalent action, effectively becoming invisible. Artificial illumination or light spells of 2nd level or lower do not negate this ability.

Treasure double standard

A brilliant strategy or overwhelming force can fail due to trickery or a well-placed assassin, and Heaven’s enemies deal in deceit and dishonor. While celestial forces might disdain such tactics, they can still recognize their necessity. When Heaven needs a cult subverted, a demonic general quietly removed, or a traitor silenced… they send the infiltrators.

This rare breed of hound archon shows an innate talent for shapeshifting far beyond their kin. The archons experience extensive re-education, and can spend hundreds of years training. While they are no less noble or dedicated than fellow archons, the infiltrators have an ill-reputation among Heaven’s elite. However, no one can deny they get results.
