SPECIAL ABILITIES

Fire Breath (Su)

A fire kyeryong can exhale a gout of flame in a 10-foot cone, dealing 3d4 fire damage (DC 12 Reflex half ). After using its fire breath, the fire kyeryong becomes fatigued and must succeed on a DC 12 Fortitude save or fall asleep for 1 hour.

ECOLOGY

Environment any
Organization solitary, pair or colony (3-6)
Treasure incidental

Fire kyeryongs are especially aggressive and breathe fire.

However, they are easily subdued after using their fire breathing weapon, as the burst of energy tends to send them to sleep.

This strange hybrid creature has the legs and hindquarters of a small dragon with the head and upper body of a rooster, while its wings are leathery skin with a fringe of feathered pinions.

Kyeryongs resemble small dragons but with avian heads and upper body features resembling roosters or hens. In some lands they are rare and revered by shamans and monks as guardians of sacred mountains and pools, but in other regions they are quite common and in such places they are regularly hunted for their meat. Each type of kyeryong embodies an aspect of their origin that is reflected in their powers.
