The furious boar gains a +1 bonus on all attack rolls against any two humanoid subtypes. This choice is made when the boar is created.

Intimidating Charge (Ex)

When the furious boar charges, its base speed is increased by 20 feet. In addition to the normal effects of a charge, the creature charged must make a DC 17 Will save or be shaken for 1d6 rounds. This is a fear effect. The save DC is Charisma-based.

Environment any forest
Organization solitary
Treasure incidental

A furious boar is an embodiment of nature’s wrath. They are often invoked by druids, nature spirits, or even minor gods when ignorant humanoids destroy a forest. Vines from the remaining trees and bushes grow around and into a chosen dire boar. The plants act as a conduit to the natural world, awakening and empowering the beast to mete out justice for the wounded land. The boar is a creature of vengeance, not justice, and often kills the innocent alongside the guilty. After the murder lust of the boar’s maker is satiated, the beast lays down to die, and the plantlife growing within it births the heart of a new woods.
