Awakened Construct (Ex)

A mythic clockwork mage is a sentient being, awakened in the process of its creation, and can understand the language of its creator.

Force Blast (Su)

A mythic clockwork mage can fire a force blast as an attack action or four force blasts as a full-attack action.

These blasts are ranged touch attacks with a maximum range of 100 feet. Each force blast deals 3d6 points of damage. Additionally, the construct adds 2d8 points of force damage to each slam attack. This is a force effect.

Spell-Like Abilities (Sp)

A mythic clockwork mage’s spell-like abilities depend on the arcane school of the wand crystal.

It uses the higher of its Intelligence or Charisma modifiers to determine its spell DCs. The construct can apply the Spell Focus feat and Greater version to the save DCs of these spell-like abilities, and it can expend a use of mythic power to activate a spell-like ability without it counting against the number of uses per day. Different mythic clockwork mages may have different spell-like abilities (to a maximum of 24 total spell levels useable per day).

Wand Magic (Su)

A mythic clockwork mage’s wand crystal allows it to cast spells as if using a spell trigger magic item (CL 9th; concentration +14 (+18 casting defensively)). The arcane school of the wand crystal determines the construct’s spells. They cast 1st-level spells at will, 2nd-level spells 3 times per day, and 3rd level spells 1 time per day. The construct uses its Intelligence modifier to determine its spell-like ability save DCs, and it can expend a use of mythic power to activate a spell-like ability without it counting against the number of uses per day. Finally, the construct can apply the Spell Focus feat and Greater version to the save DCs of its wand magic.

This faceless construct has a crystal wand set into its chest, bristling with arcane energy.

An ingenious combination of mechanical devices and magical conduits allows a clockwork mage to channel the power of a spell gem into a variety of arcane powers. They often serve powerful arcane spellcasters, or as unflinching and unquestioning casters to those who wants the benefit of spells without ego or free thought. A humanoid figure of mithral, steel, and vapor-filled crystals, a clockwork mage often drapes itself in a cloak or shroud. It stands 7 feet tall.
