SPECIAL ABILITIES

Change Shape (Ex)

Every alloyed can make minor alterations to their outward appearance by controlling the movement of their fluid metal bodies at will. This functions as the alter self spell, except the alloyed cannot alter coloration, and ability scores are not adjusted. The alloyed can only take on humanoid appearances with this ability. Use of this ability grants a +10 circumstance bonus on all Disguise checks.

Forged (Ex)

Each alloyed is created primarily from a distinct metal type, with reinforcing enchantments granting abilities and weaknesses.

The alloyed are lesser creations of the axiomites, crafters of the inevitables. Within the hierarchy focused plane of Utopia, the alloyed form the bulk of the lowest rank, and typically act as custodians, operators, and mechanics. The race shares many parallels to their inevitable masters in terms of personality acting as eternally focused and unrelenting servitors of law. However, they are the lowly serfs where the inevitables are aristocratic knights. Each alloyed’s greatest composite material defines their existence and personality. Coppers act as rapid responders in emergency situations, with greater degrees of empathy, anxiety, and altruism. Golds function as magical manufacturers and technicians, possessing a detail- and task-oriented mindset. Leads deal with the recycling and disposal of organic and inorganic material, having a rather pessimistic and nihilistic outlook. Silvers act in manipulative and conspiratorial positions, often displaying a greater propensity with deception and subterfuge. Steels form the bulk of the labor and workforce, also acting as soldiers when there is need. Rumors circulate of a management class of alloyed composed of materials like adamantine, cold iron, and mithral, but these must be experimental prototypes. The alloyed occasionally grow tired of endless servitude to uncaring masters, seeking escape and freedom. No rebellion can be tolerated by the inevitables. A ring of five alloyed is formed to capture or kill their wayward compatriots, the action itself serving as an example to the rest.
