ECOLOGY

Environment any urban
Organization solitary
Treasure standard

The trappings of civilization fascinate the average choker, and draw some to surface cities. There they lurk in the shadows and alleys, killing the weakest prey, and learning the ways of humanity. Fed with a steady stream of knowledge and protein, the chokers grow in both size and intelligence. They learn to masquerade as humanoids to better hunt their victims. Soon their curiosity encourages them to grow bolder, and they seek victims whose deaths are not so easily ignored and forgotten. Capable of slipping through most security, a pile of bodies accumulates baffling most investigators. The serial choker gets a sadistic thrill from toying with and killing anyone that begins to draw too close to the truth.
