Prehistoric Occultist (Occultist Archetype)

Your implements were made before recorded history by a culture that was more in tune with Creation than we are now. By reaching deep into the items history you can tap into the powers of Creation itself.

Proto-Implements

Instead of the resonant power and base focus power of an implement, you gain the ability to use a Word of Foundation that is tied to that school. Use your occultist level in place of Speaker level. The Proto-Implement Focus powers are as follows:

  • Abjuration–As a standard action, you may expend one point of mental focus to gain the benefits of Shield Self.
  • Conjuration–As a standard action, you may expend one point of mental focus to gain the benefits of Heal Self.
  • Divination–As a standard action, you may expend one point of mental focus to gain the benefits of Fortunate Self.
  • Enchantment–As a standard action, you may expend one point of mental focus to affect a creature within 30 feet with Charm Enemy.
  • Evocation–As a standard action, you may expend one point of mental focus to affect a creature within 30 feet with Bash Enemy.
  • Illusion–As a standard action, you may expend one point of mental focus to gain the benefits of Disguise Self.
  • Necromancy–As a standard action, you may expend one point of mental focus to affect a creature within 30 feet with Harm Enemy.
  • Transmutation–As a standard action, you may expend one point of mental focus to gain the benefits of Harden Self.

This ability replaces the resonant power and base focus power of implement schools.

Basic Focus Powers: You may choose to learn the base focus power or resonant power of an implement school that you possess. You must learn the base focus power before you can learn any other focus powers from that implement school.

This ability alters focus powers.
