An “F” or “M” appearing in the Comp. column denotes a focus or material component not normally included in a spell component pouch.

Order of Presentation: The spells (or formulae) are listed in alphabetical order by name, except when a spell’s name begins with “lesser,” “greater,” or “mass,” in which case it is alphabetized under the second word of the spell name.

Hit Dice: The term “Hit Dice” is used synonymously with “character levels” for effects that affect a specific number of Hit Dice of creatures.

Caster Level: A spell’s power often depends on caster level, which is defined as the caster’s class level for the purpose of casting a particular spell. The word “level” in the short spell descriptions that follow always refers to caster level.

Creatures and Characters: “Creature” and “character” are used synonymously in the short descriptions.

Dancing Darkness   You create either up to four spheres of darkness that each reduce the illumination level by one step within a 20-foot-radius, or one dimly lit, vaguely humanoid shape. Each sphere of dancing darkness must stay within a 10-foot-radius area of one another but can otherwise move as you desire (no concentration required): forward or back, up or down, straight or turning corners, or the like. Force Sword   You create a longsword of pure force sized appropriately for you that you can wield or give to another creature. PPC:AA
Ghost whip   Create a ghost touch whip that passes through objects. PRG:OA
Ghoul Touch   Paralyzes one subject, which exudes stench that makes those nearby sickened. PRG:CRB
Inflict moderate wounds      
Inflict pain   Target takes a —4 penalty on attack rolls, skill checks, and ability checks. PRG:OA
Instigate psychic duel   Start a psychic duel between yourself and another creature. PRG:OA
Invisibility   Subject is invisible for 1 min./level or until it attacks. PRG:CRB
Jealous Rage   You fill the target with a sense of entitled self-importance, making the subject unable to bear the indignity of another creature getting something that it doesn’t have. PPC:OO
Levitate   Subject moves up and down at your direction. PRG:CRB
Life Pact   Affected creatures automatically donate hp to stabilize fallen ally. PRG:ACG
Locate Object   Senses direction toward object (specific or type). PRG:CRB
Mind Over Matter   You blur the lines between mind and body, reassigning ability damage or drain your target has taken to a different ability score. PPC:OO
Mindshock   You charge yourself with violent psychic energy so attacks you make with weapons, natural weapons, and unarmed strikes cause the target to recall pain suffered in the past. PPC:OO
Misdirection   Misleads divinations for 1 creature or object. PRG:CRB
Object reading   Read psychic impressions left on an object. PRG:OA
Phantom steed      
Phantom Trap M Makes item seem trapped. PRG:CRB
Pilfering Hand   You may seize an object or manipulate it from afar. PRG:UC

Protective Penumbra   Shadow protects the target from light. PRG:UM
Psychic Leech   The target experiences feelings of ennui and lethargy, becoming fatigued for the spell’s duration. While the target is fatigued and is within the spell’s range, you gain a +2 enhancement bonus to Strength and Dexterity. PPC:OO
Purge spirit   Deal 1d6 points of damage per level to one haunt or spirit creature and stagger it. PRG:OA
Quick Change   Use change shape as a swift action and surprise foes. PRG:HA
Remove paralysis      
Resist Energy   Ignores first 10 (or more) points of damage per attack from specified energy type. PRG:CRB
Restoration (lesser)      
Scare   Frightens creatures of less than 6 HD. PRG:CRB

Spectral Hand   Creates disembodied glowing hand to deliver touch attacks. PRG:CRB
Spiritual Squire   An ally made of pure force appears in a single 5-foot square within range. On your turn, the squire can do one of the following: retrieve one stowed item from your possessions, carry an object weighing no more than 10 lbs./CL, hand you an object it is carrying, perform the aid another action on your behalf or for one of your allies, or help one creature of your choice don armor (which then takes half the normal time).
