DESCRIPTION

Bladeward armor protects its wearer from deadly weapon attacks. It functions as a +1 resilient adamantine breastplate. Being that it’s made of adamantine, it provides the wearer DR 2/–. As an immediate action when struck by a weapon attack, the wearer can redirect the damage of the attack to the armor. The armor takes the full damage of the attack instead of the wearer, though hardness applies. This ability must be used after the result of the attack roll is revealed (including if it is a critical hit) but before the damage is revealed. While this ability can be used any number of times each day, it can only be used when the bladeward armor is at full hit points.
