Your spirit-mind can gather mystic energies to trigger your spells instantaneously when the opportunity strikes.
Benefit(s): You can prepare (or cast, if a spontaneous caster) a spell with a range of touch for immediate use in place of a normal attack of opportunity. As long as you have at least 1 point in your ki pool and have a hand free, you are considered armed for the purpose of threatening attacks of opportunity. If a creature provokes an attack of opportunity from you, as an immediate action you can spend 1 point from your ki pool to cast a spell with this metamagic feat and make a touch attack against the target in place of your normal attack of opportunity. A reflexive spell uses up a spell slot two levels higher than the spell’s actual level.
Casting a reflexive spell does not provoke an attack of opportunity from the target of your spell, but it may provoke attacks of opportunity from other creatures that threaten you when the spell is cast.
Normal: Attacks of opportunity must be performed with weapons.
