Eye for Quality

Your long experience in your craft allows you to identify items of exceptional or magical quality.

Prerequisite: Craft 5 ranks

Benefit: You can use a Craft check in place of a Spellcraft check to identify magic items as if using detect magic. You must hold the item for 1 round to make such a check, and can only identify items related to your Craft skill, subject to GM discretion. For example, a person trained in Craft (armor) could identify armor or shields, while a person trained in Craft (alchemy) could identify a potion.
