Larger and smarter than average magpies, monstrous magpies are noted for their rudimentary intelligence and their peculiar magical skills. A monstrous magpies spell-like abilities are all focused on hiding, manipulating, and rearranging objects, complementing the magpie’s mundane knack for thievery. Monstrous magpies are clever enough to recognize and horde valuable objects. They are also cunning enough to confound opponents with invisible obstacles, and to drop teleported objects on their foes.
