Cloudwalking (Su) A very young or older quicksilver dragon can tread on clouds or fog as though on solid ground.

Cold Aura (Su) An old or older quicksilver dragon is surrounded by an aura of cold. All creatures within 5 feet of the dragon take 1d6 points of cold damage at the beginning of the dragon’s turn. An ancient dragon’s aura extends to 10 feet. A great wyrm’s aura damage increases to 2d6. A quicksilver dragon can suppress or activate this aura at will as a free action.

Fog Vision (Ex) A juvenile or older quicksilver dragon can see perfectly well in fog and clouds.

Graceful Flight (Ex) A young or older quicksilver dragon’s aerial maneuverability is one step better than normal.

Lean and Quick (Ex) A young adult or older quicksilver dragon is one size category smaller than normal for a dragon of its age category and permanently gains the benefits of a haste spell. These benefits are included in the statistics above.

Light and Nimble A quicksilver dragon’s natural armor bonus increases by one-half the normal amount for age categories other than wyrmling. However, the dragon’s Dexterity score increases at the same rate as its Strength score instead of decreasing with age.

Paralyzing Breath (Su) Instead of a cone of cold, a quicksilver dragon can breathe a cone of paralyzing gas. Creatures within the cone must succeed on a Fortitude save or be paralyzed for 1d6 rounds plus 1 round per age category of the dragon.

Small and Swift A very young or older quicksilver gains only half of the normal natural armor increase above the natural armor bonus it had as a wyrmling, but its Dexterity score increases at the same rate as its Strength score instead of decreasing with age. A young adult or older quicksilver dragon is one size category smaller than normal for a dragon of its age.

Quicksilver dragons are smaller cousins of ordinary silver dragons noted for their tendency to grow more dextrous with age. Like their silver dragon cousins, quicksilver dragons are valiant defenders of all that is lawful and good. When faced with a source of great evil, they prefer to strike fast and hard.
