Cold: The alchemeleon gains immunity to cold, and gains sleet storm as an additional spell-like ability, usable at will.

Electricity: The alchemeleon gains immunity to electricity, and gains lightning bolt (DC 13) as an additional spell-like ability, usable at will.

Fire: The alchemeleon gains immunity to fire, and gains fireball (DC 13) as an additional spell-like ability, usable at will.

Sonic: The alchemeleon gains immunity to sonic damage, and gains sound burst (20-foot radius, spell level 3rd, DC 13) as an additional spell-like ability, usable at will.

Weapon: The alchemeleon gains DR 5/adamantine.

An alchemical chameleon, more commonly known as an alchemeleon, is a construct created from a mysterious element known as quintessence. Quintessence is noted for its ability to take on the alchemical properties of its environment. The alchemeleon shares this property, rapidly adapting to attacks made against it.

The process used to craft alchemeleons has been lost over time, and may not even be possible in the current age of the world. As a result, all known alchemeleons have long outlived their creators. In the absence of instructions, alchemeleons tend to mimic the behavior of wild animals, stalking and killing prey as if they were living predators, this despite the fact that alchemeleons have no need to eat.
