Iron Knight

Astride their noble steeds, iron knights are equal parts deadly commander and skilled forge-master. Known for both their tactical expertise and their skill as engineers and smiths, these knights often lead (or advise leaders of) righteous armies.

Order: Iron knights must select the Order of the Sword.

Master Craftsman

At 4th level, the iron knight gains a bonus equal to 1/2 his cavalier level on all Craft skills involving metallurgy or forging. The iron knight also gains Expert Crafting as a bonus feat.

This ability replaces expert trainer.

Iron Blessing (Su)

At 5th level, an iron knight gains the ability to enhance equipment before a battle. Once per day as a standard action, he may bless one suit of armor or one weapon, improving its enhancement bonus by +1 (to a maximum of +6).

At 10th level and every five levels thereafter, the enhancement bonus increase improves by an additional +1. This increase lasts for 10 minutes per iron knight level.

In mass combat (see Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Ultimate Campaign), the iron knight may affect one army during the tactics phase, raising that army’s OM or DV by 1. This bonus lasts for up to three battles, but not longer than one day. At 14th level, this bonus to OM or DV increases by 1, or alternately, the iron knight may increase the army’s OM and DV by 1 each.

This ability replaces the banner and greater banner abilities.

Siege Master

At 11th level, the iron knight need only spend one day per week with an army to count as actively leading it for the purpose of mass combat. Additionally, he learns one commander’s boon of his choice. At 15th level and again at 19th level, the iron knight gains another boon.

This ability replaces mighty charge.
