The ghoul’s touch robs the target of its lifeforce.

Requirement: Ghoul HD 7.

Effect: The target of this attack suffers 3d6 points of cold damage and is exhausted for 10 minutes. A successful Fortitude saving throw halves the damage and negates the exhaustion.

Improved Loss

The attack deals an extra 1d6 points of cold damage per Hit Die the ghoul has (maximum 12d6). On a successful saving throw the damage is halved and the exhaustion is negated but, if the target is already fatigued, then it becomes exhausted for 1d4 rounds even on a successful save.

Gain and Loss

If the target fails its saving throw against this effect, the ghoul gains a +4 competence bonus to its Strength and Dexterity and a +20 feet bonus to its land speed for 10 minutes.
