Effect: The target is paralyzed for 1d4 rounds. A successful Fortitude saving throw negates the effect.
The target also suffers 1d4 points of Strength damage. A creature whose Strength is reduced to 0 by this effect is paralyzed until it regains at least 1 point of Strength. A successful saving throw halves the strength damage and lessens the condition to staggered for 1 round.
Gain and Loss
If the target fails its saving throw against this effect, the ghoul gains a +4 competence bonus to all Strength-based skill checks and melee weapon damage rolls for 10 minutes.
