Plains

The Plains terrain gives the following bonuses:

Soul of the Land: the shaitan adds the favored terrain bonus to her Diplomacy checks.

Protection of the Land: the shaitan is constantly under the effect of longstrider.

Power of the Land: when the shaitan casts a spell with the air descriptor, she adds half the favored terrain bonus to her caster level.

Ward of the Land: the shaitan adds half her terrain bonus to her Reflex saves.

Channeled Leyline: the shaitan can transform her elemental servant in a tumblespark. At 7th shaitan HD, it becomes large.

Ley Assault: the following abilities become available with Ley Assault when Plains terrain is selected:

Storm Blade

The shaitan summons the power of storms. Storm blade deals 1d6 points of electric damage per shaitan HD to each enemy in a 60-foot radius area centered on the shaitan. Enemies can attempt a Reflex saving throw for half the damage. Furthermore, enemies within 20 feet of the shaitan must also make a Fortitude save or become staggered for 1 round. An enemy that fails both saving throws is stunned for 1d4 rounds instead. Using storm blade consumes 3 Ley points, and requires the shaitan to be in a plains terrain.

Thunderclap

The shaitan calls upon the fickle weather of plains to smite a foe within 30 feet. The target of thunderclap suffers 1d4 points of electricity damage for every 3 shaitan HD and 1d4 points of sonic damage for every 3 shaitan HD and is deafened for 1 minute. A successful Fortitude save halves the damage and negates the deafness. If thunderclap is used on a plains terrain, the target is also knocked prone on a failed save. Using thunderclap consumes 2 Ley points.

Crackling Mist

The shaitan surrounds herself with a defensive veil of mist, which lashes out against those who attack her. Crackling mist gives the shaitan a 20% chance of being missed as the mist covers her figure. Furthermore, whenever she is targeted by an attack made with a non-reach weapon, the attacking creature suffers 2d6 + the favored terrain bonus points of electricity damage. A successful Fortitude save halves the damage. Crackling mist lasts 1 round per shaitan HD and costs 1 Ley point to activate.

Leyline Blessing: the following abilities become available with Leyline Blessing when Plains terrain is selected for Ley Assault:

Incarnation of Breeze

The shaitan channels the capriciousness of the wind blowing through the plains in a touched creature. The target gains the benefits of haste and elemental body IV, only to transform into an air elemental. Incarnation of breeze lasts for 1 round per shaitan HD, costs 3 Ley points, and can be used only if the shaitan is in plains terrain.

Second Wind

The shaitan imbues a touched creature with an essence of healing breeze. Second wind gives the target a +2 sacred (or profane for evil shaitan) bonus to the target’s armor class and Reflex saving throws for 1 minute per shaitan HD. Before the expiration of this bonus, the target can use an immediate action to terminate the effect early and gain the benefits of windy escape and recover 3d8 hit points. If second wind was used on a plains terrain, after discharging second wind, the target gains fast healing 5 for a number of rounds equal to the favored terrain bonus. Using second wind costs 2 Ley points.
